We built the full e-commerce experience: a drag-and-drop online design tool with 5,000+ templates, AI-powered image enhancement, real-time previews, and a production-integrated order pipeline. The platform supports 50+ canvas sizes, multi-panel layouts, and custom dimensions up to 120 by 1,740 inches. Operated by Square Signs LLC -- an Inc. 5000 company -- from their production facility in Burbank, California.
The Challenge
Selling custom canvas prints online requires more than a product catalog. Customers need to visualize their photo on an actual canvas before buying, upload and edit designs with zero friction, and trust that what they see on screen will match the printed product. The platform also needs to feed orders directly into a physical production pipeline where timing is tight -- same-day production starts within an hour of order placement.

Our Solution
We built a React and Next.js storefront with an integrated browser-based design tool. Customers can upload photos, choose from thousands of templates, add text and graphics, and see a real-time preview before ordering. AI image enhancement upscales low-resolution uploads automatically. The backend connects directly to the production facility for same-day turnaround, and a design proof service provides professional quality review before printing.
